Q&A: Christmas in the office – gift ideas?

Question by nb: Christmas in the office – gift ideas?
I work at a law office and have five co-workers I would like to get something for. I would like to spend about 5-10 dollars per person. Any ideas of anything simple yet unique? Possibly some sort of basket?

I am getting my co-workers (15), a christmas mug filled with candy. You can wrap the mug with the red or green clear paper for a more christmasy look.

tea or coffee gifts are nice. Maybe not so unique, but you could put different teas, cocoas or coffees in a mug. You could putogether a movie basket with popcorn, blockbuster card and movie candies. Depending on if they are female or not, I find lipgloss polishes to be great items. you can get some great ideas on sephora.com

Unless they are exchanging with you or you all have agreed to buy gifts for each other, don’t buy them anything. Just ask them if they exchange. You may open a can of worms and make them feel uncomfortable. And that may change your entire working relationship. Good luck!

I would recommend something from ediblearrangements.com
I am NOT endorsing their products. It’s just something that came to my mind. Other option is…something like Harry and David? I think that’s what is. Also a fruit company.

CD’s, lotions, soaps, books, cookies, chocolates, candles, hair accessories (headbands, hairclips, etc). These aren’t
expensive, and they all make beautiful gifts.

Whaty ou do is you go to amazing savings(http://www.dccreatives.com/amazing/index.html) or some other store that has reeeeaally cheap stuff. You buy a bunch of nice baskets.

You put a bunch of things that everyone will like IE
    1. one draidel cookie (you can get a draidel cookie cutter at AS)
2.one Christmas tree cookie(get the Pillsbury ones if you want)
3.a 5 dollar gift card to starbucks(everyone in an office drinks coffee)
    4.fun sized candies
5.a letter that is personal or you can simply say “happy holidays”
6.for your boss make a personal appropriate letter that says thanks and for the opportunity to work and learn in his environment. Or once again repeat step five.

Scented candles, tea cup full of de-stressing teas, Godiva bars with a ribbon, umbrellas, or a card reflecting your donation to charity in their names.

People you are close to should get something that is ‘them’ if it is very political and business-like get everyone the same thing.
